Accounts Payable Clerk I

Gather, verify and enter invoices into the internal accounting system in a timely manner with a high level of accuracy.  This position will work closely with other accounting team members to ensure all bills are coded accurately for timely payment, the AP entry system is maintained in accordance with ICMC protocols and that vendors, suppliers and contractors are contacted to resolve billing issues.  Interested candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, basic bookkeeping and basic accounting knowledge, and be computer literate.  Effective organizational, prioritization and interpersonal skills are mandatory with preference given to candidates with some AP experience.  Position will report to the Senior Accountant.

CNA/Registration Clerk

Iron County Medical Center (ICMC) has an openings for PRN day and night shift Certified Nurse Assistant/Registration Clerk. (This position will be required to serve in a dual role.)


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Must acknowledge and continuously demonstrate that the patient always comes first

  • Must maintain positive, respectful and professional relationships with patients, co-workers and ancillary department personnel at all times

  • Provide quality, compassionate patient care under the direction of charge nurse, RN, LPN and/or attending physician; perform other duties as directed by charge nurse

  • Receive patients and visitors in a courteous, friendly, empathetic and efficient manner

  • Keying and processing ER patient intake paperwork

  • Initiating and maintaining patient files and charts

  • Must maintain confidentiality of patient records, discussions and issues at all times

  • Must be able to effectively explain and courteously collect any co-pays due at time of visit

  • * Provide back-up assistance to Med-Surg and ER personnel as needed in either CNA or Registration Clerk capacity as well as to business office and medical records employees

Family Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist

Current openings for Full-Time, Part-Time or PRN Medical Technologists/Medical Laboratory Technicians.



MT/MLT’s perform processing and testing on blood and other specimens which requires the knowledge and understanding of laboratory testing methodologies, instrumentation, quality control, and reference ranges. An MT/MLT always demonstrates good laboratory practice, understands and follows all CLIA guidelines and regulations, and strives to report the most accurate and precise results in a timely manner. They will act as a resource to physicians and support staff to answer questions and provide information. An MT/MLT will be required to exhibit excellent customer service in all interactions with patients, physicians, and support staff.


Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Acts as a generalist, performing testing in the following areas: Chemistry, Special Chemistry, Serology, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Blood Banking.

  • Operates all instrumentation according to manufacturer and laboratory procedures to deliver accurate, precise, and timely results

  • Ensures all maintenance, calibrations, and quality control is performed on all instrumentation and troubleshoots instrument malfunctions as necessary.

  • Evaluates instrumentation, quality control, and patient results to identify issues. Uses technical knowledge and problem solving to formulate possible solutions to correct the problem.

  • Assist in the training of new personnel

  • Maintains documentation of all activities as required by CLIA and laboratory procedure.


Minimum Requirement:

Associate Degree in Medical Technology through an accredited university and successful completion of an NAACLS or ABHES accredited MLT program.

ICMC has an immediate opening for a full time Advanced Practice RN (APNP) to serve as Hospitalist in the management of acute and chronic medical conditions, both physical and mental, of hospitalized patients. The NP will assess patient needs, order and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests; diagnose illness and disease; prescribe medication(s) and work with a medical team to formulate treatment plans. The NP Hospitalist will also round on inpatients including those in observation status, provide consultation to colleagues and oversee unassigned patients from ER.
