Current openings for Full-Time, Part-Time or PRN Medical Technologists/Medical Laboratory Technicians.



MT/MLT’s perform processing and testing on blood and other specimens which requires the knowledge and understanding of laboratory testing methodologies, instrumentation, quality control, and reference ranges. An MT/MLT always demonstrates good laboratory practice, understands and follows all CLIA guidelines and regulations, and strives to report the most accurate and precise results in a timely manner. They will act as a resource to physicians and support staff to answer questions and provide information. An MT/MLT will be required to exhibit excellent customer service in all interactions with patients, physicians, and support staff.


Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Acts as a generalist, performing testing in the following areas: Chemistry, Special Chemistry, Serology, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Blood Banking.

  • Operates all instrumentation according to manufacturer and laboratory procedures to deliver accurate, precise, and timely results

  • Ensures all maintenance, calibrations, and quality control is performed on all instrumentation and troubleshoots instrument malfunctions as necessary.

  • Evaluates instrumentation, quality control, and patient results to identify issues. Uses technical knowledge and problem solving to formulate possible solutions to correct the problem.

  • Assist in the training of new personnel

  • Maintains documentation of all activities as required by CLIA and laboratory procedure.


Minimum Requirement:

Associate Degree in Medical Technology through an accredited university and successful completion of an NAACLS or ABHES accredited MLT program.


New Graduates will be considered



  • Certification as MT/MLT through ASCP or equivalent

  • > 1 Year of General Laboratory Experience

Revenue Cycle Director

Iron County Medical Center (ICMC) has an immediate opening for a full-time Revenue Cycle Director to effectively manage all functions of the facility’s revenue cycle process and billing office staff; assume overall responsibility for maximizing the functionality and compliance of the revenue cycle; and maintain and improve internal and external customer relations.   Position will make recommendations for improving billing processes and implement approved recommendations. Interested candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or healthcare administration, a minimum of 10 years of medical billing experience with three successful years in a supervisory role; thorough knowledge of CAH and RHC billing; in-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurances; strong math, bookkeeping, accounting and communication skills as well as have a high level of experience with computer software programs (Windows, Microsoft Office, Excel).
